We are looking for a Head of Marketing & Communications that has:
- 5+ years of marketing experience and a proven track record of success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals and objectives
- Excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience developing and executing effective communication strategies that cover both PR and Investor Relations activities
- Experience in an agency environment (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
The Head of Marketing & Communications will be expected to:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals and objectives for growth and innovation, including working with the Exec team on their own personal communications tactics
- Develop marketing strategies (with an emphasis on digital channels) for our clients that align with their business goals
- Develop and manage marketing budgets to ensure maximum ROI and efficiency
- Oversee all digital marketing efforts, which include, but is not limited to website management, social media presence, email marketing campaigns, Data Analysis & Reporting, and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies for both Clients and the Company
- Brand Management: Develop and oversee the delivery of a communications strategy to build the company’s brand and reputation Ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials and channels (digital and traditional) to maintain a strong brand image that aligns with the company’s values and goals
- Market Research & Product Development: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities. Provide insight into product development and competitive positioning; collaborate with other departments within the company, including business development and account management, to develop effective cross-functional strategies
- Public Relations: Develop and sustain solid relationships with company stakeholders and customers; manage the company’s relationship with the media including writing press releases, arranging interviews, and handling crisis communications when necessary; develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the organization’s reputation and maintain positive relationships with the public, including customers, media, and industry influencers; develop and promote CSR initiatives, communicating the organization’s commitment to social and environmental sustainability, and engaging with stakeholders on these efforts
- Investor Relations: Develop and execute strategies to effectively communicate with current and potential investors, including shareholder communications, Quarterly Report presentations, and spearheading the communication strategy and media coverage and publications for Quarterly earnings calls and AGMs
